It's not insanity to favor sentient women over insentient fetuses. It never was nor will be. People have the right to protect their bodies, it's called self-defense.
Personally, I consider it absolutely sick to consider another's life less important than your own. And to find yourself on such a high pedastal that you would kill your own child for your own well-being.
And I'm not sure where you get your facts from, but fetuses are VERY MUCH alive. It's called a zygote and it's just as alive as you are right now.
...Not really, because by the time babies are aborted they don't have a fully grown and functioning brain or a beating heart. Or half a dozen other organs that haven't been sufficiently developed yet.
You and Totally-dead are both forgetting one thing. Both plants and animals were created for us to use as sustainance. As a whole, they are utterly expendable. Are you honestly compairing a human child to a witless beast? Are you honestly devaluing human life to such a lowly standard?
